Jeremy Piven’s Impossible to I’m Possible Story
Jeremy Piven was told by an acting teacher that he shouldn’t be an actor because he couldn’t act. This didn’t discourage him; it only made him work harder towards his dream. After his negative experience he started studying at Piven Theatre Workshop which was founded by his parents. He also earned a degree in Theatre from Drake University. Jeremy went on to be featured in a diverse array of films and television shows. Later, he won three Emmys and a Golden Globe for his role as Ari Gold in Entourage. He currently stars as the lead on PBS’s Mr. Selfridge, where he plays flamboyant, American department store mogul Harry Selfridge in this period drama.
“All I’ve done is work… I arrived in Los Angeles in my early 20s and I’ve been pounding the pavement ever since.”
Imagine if Jeremy Piven would’ve given up his dream because someone discouraged him? You will face rejection and be discouraged but don’t let that stop you from working hard towards your dream. Jeremy Piven is POSSIBLE and so are you!
