Terry Crew’s Impossible to I’m Possible Story
Terry Crews got cut almost every year as an NFL football player but says,” Without the persistence I learned in the league, I would’ve never made it in Hollywood. For me all of it led to my ideal future. Embrace failure. Never quit. Get very comfortable with that uneasy feeling of going against the grain and trying something new. I constantly get out of my comfort zone. Looking cool is the easiest way to mediocrity. I always remember I won’t do things on the first try so failure is mandatory for success!”
His football career ended in 1996, his acting career started in 2000, and he’s been working consistently since then. He’s best known for White Chicks, The Expendables, Bridesmaids, Everybody Hates Chris, and of course those hilarious Old Spice commercials. Don’t get discouraged by failure. Keep working hard and if at first you fail, try, try, and try again because you are POSSIBLE!
